FUSE ethic /About the mission of F.U.S.E
Free United Soul Expression Enjoyment is a movement from NY dancers to emphasize the qualities of internal expression and energy through dance as New York Dance Spirit.
To feel from the soul, to convey the passion, and to express yourself through dance is the arts origin. Coming from the heart and soul, dance has a way to move and heal as well.
These days, the Street Dance Cultures become popular all over the world and the numbers of dancers are growing to expand the dance culture into new formation of businesses.
However, we strongly feel that in spite of the growth, The smaller important dance qualities are taught less and less.
Even the spirit of dance is going down as a negative aspect.
We believe that now is the time for us to grasp the essence of dance and go back to the qualities and origins of dance.
We all dance for joy, freedom, share love and peace to heal our souls.
This is how NY dance culture started to share of passion as well.
We must keep and recreate a positive direction for our dance cultures and view it from higher perspective.
Through the movement ,we share positive energy for peace and love.
We must extend this inner strength to grow a bright future for our dance cultures.
Dance is not for only becoming a professional dancers, but also its to share the happiness of people’s lives, relieve their stress in body and mind, and as recreation for all ages.
We will continue to pursue the true nature and the essence of this power and promote enlightened ideas to highlight the positive spirit through the dance for a better life for people.
With this belief, Fuse would take part in the development of dancers from places like NY and Japan, and to demonstrate to people not only technique, but one’s sense of value and self expression and emphasize the importance of their connection with dance.
Through this development, the training of the mind would mature dancers to instructors and mentors. In other words, internal expression for dance is more intrinsic value than externals or just techniques.
Also the students understand and grasp the basic principles that dance is a way to heal and express our mind and body through its movement.
FUSE from NY dancer’s spirit will strive to improve the condition of today’s Dance world to reach the next level to establish our clear prospective of dance.
An ability to take the long view of our dance culture is one of the essential qualities for all dance lovers worldwide.

Mamiko Shimura（Ｆ．Ｕ．Ｓ．Ｅ ダンス・プロジェクト代表）幼い頃からダンスを習い、名古屋造形短期大学卒業後、名古屋でジャズダンスインストラクターを務め、８８年、本格的にダンス技術の向上のため、ＮＹに渡米。
ペリー、ＢＤCでダンスを学ぶ。92年、ＮＹで結婚、出産数年間、家事と育児の傍ら、９６年Laguardia Community Collegeに入学し、 英語、ビジネス、アートを学ぶ。９８年より、高校留学の現地アドバイザー、ガーディアンとして、高校生、学生、不登校生のサポートの仕事に携わる。その間、留学斡旋業界への疑問と矛盾を抱き ２００２年より、留学の現地スタッフの必要性を各留学会社に訴え、現地サポートスタッフのポジションを得る。２００５年、大好きなダンスを人生に復活させたことがきっかけとなり、ダンス留学生を中心に、現地アドバイザー、ＮＹダンスツアーのオリジナルＷＯＲKSHOPの企画とコーディネーターとなり、ダンス関連情報ブログをはじめる。
その後、多くのダンサーたちとの出会い、ダンス業界の派閥や分離などの問題と直面し、ダンスを愛する人々が団結し、各々の才能を分かち合える、エデュケーショナルで新しい視野でダンスを学ぶインターナショナルなダンスプログラムを設けたいと願い、 ２００７年、将来に夢を抱き、頑張っているダンサー、ＡＲＴISTを応援したいという願望のＦＵＳＥダンスを設立する。
徳岡あきこ インターナショナルアーテイストコーディネーター
幼い頃から日本でヒップホップ、ストリートジャズ、ソウル、ＷＡＡCKING，ＰＯＰPＩＮＧ，ＬＯＣＫＩＮＧを習い、NY渡米後3年間、それらの分野に加え、 バレエ、モダン、コンテンポラリー、ジャズにも興味を持ち、あらゆる分野のダンスを学ぶ。 現在、ＮＹを拠点とし、プロのダンサーとしても活躍中。 Akim Funk Buddaや他多数のダンサーと共にリンカーンセンターやLa MaMa、ワシントンＤＣのケネディセンターなどでパフォーマンスを行っている。日本、ＮＹ共にダンス業界に貫通しており、あらゆるダンスに関する知識、繋がりも豊富である。又多数の日米アーテイスト、ダンサー、プロデユーサー、スタジオオーナー等とのコネクションも強い。そして２００７年、今後自らのダンス経験を生かし、ダンス仲間をサポートしたいという願望により、ＦＵＳＥＤＡＮＣＥプロジェクトに参加し、現在インターナショナルコーディネーターを務める。
Carl Albright Executive Director/IT Specialist
Carl, AKA Karl Kablisk, is an International Business/Business Management Major currently enrolled in Baruch College for his B.A. Karl loves Japan, he moved there when he was 16 and lived there for 4 years in both Kumamoto-shi and Tokyo. Because of this, he has spent his college days promoting Japan with various groups. In LaGuardia College he was the President of the Japanese club, organizing american and Japanese students in cultural exchange. He has also worked with NYT, a New York based Japanese company for Japanese and Asian media in New York. He has also worked with the Japanese government body JNTO (Japan National Tourist Organization). With them he helped in their mission of showing the U.S. about true Japanese culture and assist those wishing to go to Japan with information. Web Designer, Programmer and Entreprenuer, Karl is interested in many things, but his focus is always Japan. With FUSE, he hopes to help the exchange of America's dance culture with Japan with his business and computer knowledge.
